Marketing Lead

Reports to:             Director of Business Development & Market Expansion

Position Type:       Fractional/Part-time

Location:                 Saanichton, BC

Expected Start date: January 2026

The Marketing Lead is responsible for setting direction and driving execution across marketing efforts for all Level Ground brands. This role owns brand consistency, and performance tracking, while collaborating closely with sales to support growth objectives. This is a Fractional Role, expected 20-30 hours per week depending on organizational requirements.

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals across all channels
  • Own the marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across product launches, promotions, and sales initiatives
  • Execute on timelines, and deliverables across the marketing team
  • Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy decisions

Brand Management

  • Own brand messaging, positioning, and guidelines across all channels.
  • Review and approve marketing materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns on time.

Performance & Reporting

  • Define success metrics and KPIs for the marketing team
  • Report on campaign results, trends, and recommendations
  • Manage marketing budgets and spend tracking

Marketing Team Leadership

  • Ensure clarity and accountability, this role includes the following expectations:
  • Participate in regular check-ins with the marketing team members
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal teams and partners
  • Maintain organized documentation, plans, and reporting

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, including strategy and execution
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing a marketing team
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting spend, and reporting on ROI
  • experience managing multiple brands
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, product, and operations teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fractional or part-time leadership capacity, with the ability to prioritize high-impact work

 Roles Assets

  • Understanding of the context of CPG & Specialty Coffee industries
  • Background in brand development or managing multi-brand portfolios
  • Experience launching new products or entering new markets
  • Experience operating in a scaling or growth-stage business environment

Reporting & Working Groups

This position works collaboratively with the Sales/Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Business Development & Market Expansion
